APW - Waltham, "Bailey, Banks, & Biddle, Philadelphia" marked mvt and dial, Model 1883, 15J, 18S, 14K multicolor gold box hinge N.J.W.C.Co. HC recase with stag to rear, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, frosted and nickel damascene, s#4422163. Gross weight of assembled watch 90.1 dwt (140.1 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, scratch in area between lower case screw and balance wheel, few fine to micro-fine scratches elsewhere, ample oxide to regulator assembly, mismatched case screws; dial with few faint hls to right portion, few scattered edge flakes under bezel; fine hands, minute with oxide and finish loss; case shows very light wear, fine fracture and some associated material loss to band between 10:30 and 12, some dings to front and rear that are more evident to inner surface of lids, ding to boxed portion of band at 9, cuvette with some dings, engraving detail with mild reduction, some loss of color to stag, thin gauge cuvette closes securely but when opened is somewhat out of shape and skews out of level; tight bow, crown shows light wear; clean plastic crystal.
